HIGH PARK MOVEMENT STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION UPDATESummer 2024

The following highlights are based on the High Park Movement Strategy: E-Update #10 – Implementation Update. You can subscribe directly for future updates here.

Return of 203 High Park Bus

The 203 High Park bus has returned for the summer season and will run until Monday, September 2nd (Labour Day weekend). The 203 High Park operates on weekends and holidays with service every 20 minutes from 8:00am to 7:00pm with stops at High Park subway station and multiple stops at key destinations within the park. It uses an accessible community bus that resembles a regular Wheel-Trans vehicle, but anyone can ride it. More information on the 203 High Park route can be found on the TTC website.

Recreational Cycling Pilot

A recreational cycling pilot was recommended through the HPMS to provide a dedicated time and route for cyclists to safely ride at speeds conducive to fitness training, while reducing conflicts during busier periods in the park. This pilot is NOT taking place in summer 2024 but is continuing to be studied.

Changes to Queensway Entrance

The southern entrance at Colborne Lodge Drive and the Queensway will be closed to visitor vehicles on weekends and holidays until the end of September.

Future Changes

Additional steps in the High Park Movement Strategy, including infrastructure changes and procurement of a shuttle service, require further design and costing. Watch for future updates.
