The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks recently designated Grenadier Pond and nearby wetlands as a Provincially Significant Wetland (PSW). This additional recognition reinforces the importance of adequate protection and careful management of this very special natural feature. We will continue to press for measures to protect Grenadier Pond, including the prohibition of fishing throughout the pond.
