The animal paddocks have always been one of the park’s most popular attractions. Keeping animals in the park is a tradition, dating back to 1890 when a few deer were housed in a pen. Today you’ll find domestic and exotic species, including bison, llamas, highland cattle and mountain sheep.
Open year round, the paddocks are staffed by an attendant from 7.00am to 3.30pm every day. Please remember that feeding the animals is injurious to their health and is NOT permitted.
